Help with bracelet adjustment
Hi, Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced screwdriver set, and case back tool that I can use to adjust the bracelet, and tighten the case back? My watch is a Rolex President Day Date model 18038 year 1985. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you, Mark |

A good source for tools is esslinger.com
You'll hear that Bergeon makes good screwdrivers, and it's true, but there is more to it than this. Most screwdrivers (Bergeon included) have blades that are too thin. You want the blade to fill the entire slot in the head of the screw. It doesn't mean you can't use a screwdriver that doesn't fill the entire slot in the heads of the screws, but you will need to take measures to minimize deformation of the slots. Search for related threads on TRF and read about issues and solutions. I did, and it helped a lot. |
