Nice!

I recently read an article about a guy with a GMT he's had for years and years.....all beat up, but he absolutely loved it! Great article - I think someone on TRF posted it.

USA. But really I just enjoy watch and the strategy involved. The Russian female curler was easy in the eyes. But it’s gonna be hard the beat our neighbors up north.

I'm horrified! 2nd degree Misdemeanor watch abuse! J/K. It will look brand new after a service.

Thank you for wearing it like how it's supposed to be worn so I don't have to. At least you're enjoying it!

Sorry thought you meant just over all. Really I just like watching the game. I haven’t followed that that many teams to get behind one fully. Although the Hamilton siblings... I was really hoping they would have done better.

Wait, no one's mentioned how the Rolex crown is perfectly aligned when being worn. OMG what has this discussion board turned into? LOL

I love seeing watches that have been worn and abused in the real world. I’ve said it here before, but if I die with my watch in perfect condition (unless it’s newish (-;), I didn’t live an adventurous life as I’m primarily a one watch guy, and that watch goes with me everywhere. After I make the decision that a watch is a keeper, scratches and dings are just memories.

Also, to me, having a beat up tool watch (if one can still consider Rolex a tool) paired with a nice suit is a pretty cool fashion contrast.

If that's the way you like it, hope you enjoy building up wear as the years go by. Pretty hefty aquisitions for many, thus the reason folks tend to care for them. Hope you enjoy your BLNR in good health for many more years. Cheers!

Right on. Wear it like it was meant to be worn. Here’s my LvC that took a shot from the shaft of a hammer on the lug. It’ll polish out. Maybe. This was about 3 months after purchase.

It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!

I’ve only owned “nice” watches for about a year now. Initially, I thought I could be careful and avoid even the lightest of scratches on any of them. But now, while I’ll never intentionally inflict any damage to any of them, I look forward to watching my few daily’s collect signs of honest wear. I hope to leave my kids a few pristine pieces and a couple of well-worn, but valuable daily beaters.

I wear mine all the time. But I have to confess that when things are about to get a little rough the Explorer II is my go to guy.

I wear the six-digit younger brother almost every day while piloting a dump truck. Exactly what it was made for... 😁

Now that’s what you call character. Defines what a tool watch should be.

Well done...
