Do "Rubber B" bands good and worth the money?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with Rubber B bands, are they really good and worth the money? I am looking for one for a panerai

Rubber B straps are too expensive, but i bought one after checking out many alternatives which left me disappointed. Once you have the Rubber B straps and see the fit on the watch, you’ll know that they are probably among the best rubber bands that you can buy. It doesn’t change the fact that their price is rediculous though. I checked out Everest as well and while they are better for larger wrists and they got more holes for adjustment, Rubber B was the winner for me. Everest is in the same price bracket as Rubber B, so no difference there.

Not comfy for me. It needs an extra hole between the stock holes to get a perfect fit and I think for the price they should have thought of it

I bought one recently for my sub and daytona. Really comfortable compared to the bracelet. The quality is excellent but it definitely is overpriced for rubber, regardless if it is Swiss made. You could probably buy a cheap Seiko for the price of the Rubber B!

i wasn't a believer at first, but after buying one, they're worth it.

the buckle ones are the ones to get imop.

With Rubber B you are paying for the best quality Swiss Made rubber strap that you can get. They're not generic and are fitted for your specific watch. I love mine and wouldn't put anything else on my watch except for the original bracelet.

We are talking about spending 250$ for a rubber Strap on your 10,000$ watch ? I think it worth every penny !

IMO they are good for watches with no real strap alternative (Rolex). I would not buy them for Panerai, or AP where there are many official brand strap options.

They are nice, but still 3rd party.

I have an Everest which is much the same and close to the same price.

Whether you like the price or not they both are a great alternative to the bracelet.

Worth the money in my opinion. I use one on my GMT and Daytona. Love having the option of size adjustment during hot sticky months in Tampa.

Do you own one? I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger because I had similar thoughts as you. Even called them a couple of times before purchasing. I think you would be very surprised at the quality, the calibration even the other high end Swiss timepiece companies that share the same factory in Switzerland with them in regards to production. To me thats pretty impressive and what pushes them over the edge.

yeah, i have an everest and a rubber b. I like them and i put them on my Rolex from time to time. If Rolex offered one, i would buy the Rolex one instead. They won't sell the oyster flex for my watch, so that doesnt really count.

No issues with quality whatsoever. I just would prefer to have OEM branded straps if possible. I guess im just OCD, and i dont like to mix brands

I agree with you. They are not for everyone, also they look similar but they're completely different in regards to the quality and the fit on the watch.

With all due respect, IMO you have absolutely no clue of what you are talking about. I would agree with you if it were a piece of latex made in China like many other straps you see around that "look similar" Look into costs of production on an entirely a Swiss Made product. The difference between natural rubber and latex etc.

My traditionalist buddy! I totally get your approach on OEM and you are right to some extent. My only question to you would be Why would a product that is up to par with my watch in regards to quality and craftsmanship be cheaper than the original brand? The original brand actually would have the resources to make it cheaper don't you think? If it's comparable in every way to OEM quality and is made under the same standards and Swiss factories where OEM's are produced why should the product be cheaper?
