Rolex meets Ferrari

1972 GMT 1675 and 1958 Ferrari Watch.

The Ferrari watch is technically nothing special, but I like the design. The watches were given from Ferrari to drivers and friends during the Targa Florio and also the Mille Miglia at this time.

Both Rolex and Ferrari know how to do it right.

"The Ferrari watch is technically nothing special, but I like the design."

I think it is something special because it feels like this is from a time when watches that were branded with a car brand were actually solid watches. Whenever I see a watch that is branded with a car brand today, I can't shake the feeling that they put their good name on sub-par watches. This wasn't a Ferrari watch to appeal to Joe Doe sitting at home on the sofa drinking Budweiser and watching F1 on TV but to people who were actually involved in car racing in one way or another. And I believe that is very cool :)

P.s. Schöne Grüße aus dem sonnigen Kalifornien nach Wien

Thank you guys, really like the GMT and other vintage Rolex.
The Ferrari watch looks fantastic in detail, will post more pictures later. Nothing special on the movement, but a small pice of Ferrari history

Thank you, yes, interesting watches. Specialy when the name of the driver is on the backside.

Looking also for a Mille Miglia watch.

Nice piece , being Sicilian and working in the luxury auto world I can appreciate this watch a lot

That Ferrari piece is gorgeous. The Panerai Ferrari's are the only car branded watch that look good, too.

Ah yes, good idea, show us more from the combinations :-)
But sorry, the new Daytona I really like, the new Ferrari watches, not so really...

Older ones of the 50s, 60s had a lit of style and elegance.
