Early 1960s Unpolished Gilt GMT 1675 w/ Small GMT Hand

Early 1960s Unpolished Gilt GMT 1675 w/ Small GMT Hand...appears to be pretty much untouched as far as I can tell.

The watch is circa 1965/1966 as evidenced by the dial and case. What is the serial number?

Early 1960s GMTs had pointed crown guards and different dials.

I did not have a chance to remove the bracelet and I'll check on that when I get to the watch again.

Just like John, I would date it to '65/'66. Think serial is something in the 1.2 up to 1.4 Mio.
Bezel, Inlay, and bracelet seem to be period correct, IMHO.

I'm not sure about the hands......isn't it a little late for gilt hands????
Minute-Hand is a little short...to me it seems like they have been changed at a service and the watchmaker fitted older hands he had in his drawer...
Maybe John can bring some light in my darkness!?!?!

A little cleaning and polishing the plexi would work wonders!!!!
Howsoever.....Stunner

Love it! Great 1675gilt and if it's now yours......ConGrAtS

Nice crisp watch. I would like to see a better picture of the date disc as it looks like a latter version. I have never bought a gmt of this era with those hands before and the bezel insert in much later.

Nice, love the gilt hands, usually found on earlier models, hour & minute with second in steel as well as small arrow. m

Insert much later? I'd say it's exactly like the one on this ad. Regarding hands I'd say the serial should be closer to 1.1-1.2 than 1.5 to make gilt work. They are always pretty though. Especially with the small hand in gilt as well. Only me who thinks case is polished? Crown guards is a little bit too round. Usually the top surface is flatter. No? Maybe just the pics..

Beautiful watch nonetheless.

Me too. Every other surface has signs of use, except the case sides !!!!

As far as the rest of the details are in question, as detailed above, let the experts talk.

PS. This does not turn down the watches' "value" IMO, but should be rated as it should.

I forgot about this one. I had it stored with other watches and need to photograph the rest of the set and get better shots of the watch.
