Incoming Gilt GMT - Thoughts?

Just a quick shot for now. 1.2mm serial with the correct date wheel and replacement hands (sadly no small GMT hand here!)/bezel but thought I'd post quickly for those more expert than myself to chime in if anything else jumps out to them (other than that my iPhone focus leaves something to be desired...)

Congrats - very nice. Aside from the things you've mentioned, I don't see anything obvious, but it's not a great photo, and quite dark. Possible re-lume on the hour plots? They don't look quite tidy enough to me, but it could be the light or scratches in the plexi causing distortion.

I would echo what Karl said. Indeed that insert is a service replacement as you noted but overall it seems a nice example!

That's the one thing I thought too Vincent - maybe a touch up of the lume plots, the 6/9 don't look quite as crisp to me. Will probably shoot a few more pics at home tonight, was just excited to tear through some FedEx boxes today at the office!

Yes, the dial could be relumed. The date wheel is a later one ?

Nice watch ! I would search a nice fat font faded insert to make the look perfect...

The date wheel is correct...sorry but I disagree.

Disagree with my assessment that it's correct or rolstaff's post?

It's got the rounded 3s, hooked 7s, and closed 6/9s which I thought were kind of the telltale signs of this iteration (but I would certainly defer to your GMT expertise springer! god knows I've silently soaked in a lot of your wisdom off these boards!).

I quoted Rolstaff. The date wheel in the photo is correct. If you have other concerns send me a PM.

lume plots do look a bit rough. need a proper close up and some UV action to be certain. Depends on price to evaluate as the parts to put right are not inexpensive. Still a watch you can wear without trepidation. m
