I think White gold would have been great and applied numbers..or just lume the whole hands if you have to......maybe it's the case metal its colour that throws the colour choice out or the fact it's really an entry level watch and costs had to be cut somewhere!!!

I am still tempted on the new CS especially with gold hands and new dual but then the 1815 up down is a nice addition. Not going out to rush this one but post pics

Dunno what it is but if I like the look of a watch, it stays as long as the interest is there. Brand/reputation/trinity stuff really not a priority in determination of what I keep.

Right now, along with the Rolex and IWC I have a Lange Moon Phase LE, the smaller(40 mm) BP FF LE, 3 JLC Reversos (2 LE), an ochs und junior Moon Phase, an Omega Seamaster LE, and a Patek 5196P. Looking to add a Journe and then maybe a Patek Gondolo, all the while trying to talk myself away from the beautiful new blue dialed GP Laureato out of this year's watch shows . . .
Of course totally subjective, brand history an finition are very important for me, looks also of course, trinity don't care really, and you still have or want to get some of the big boys, congrats on the incoming CS, i am too much on sport watches for a FPJ though considered the cb some time, and their sport model is not to my taste.
About the Nautilus it's for me like a good wine, you need time to appreciate them, for more than 2 years when I saw one in pics I couldn't believe people were willing to pay that price for that watch, they just didn't appeal to me, but after time I started to like them and when I got the 5712 it was my favorite watch, sold all my others, Rolex, Pam, BP, 8 in all, as I couldn't stand the lack of comfort next to the PP, anyways if you don't like it don't get one, tastes, but for me they are the best watches on metal ever made, I like the thin ones, 5711/5712 with blue dial

Absolutely agree like the matching date window too - I wish more brands created date windows taking into account the dial colour.
