I get comments from friends all the time, simply because im young and its not really usual to be wearing a rolex so they comment. Other than that, friends and family but rarely strangers, i think only once. 116613lb

Gotten 3 comments on my GMT BLNR...

First was the cashier at a CVS who noticed it was a Rolex and was quite amazed by the fact that he saw someone wearing one... disregarding the fact the customer before me was wearing a pre-ceramic sub.

Second was a store clerk at costco who just stopped me as I was walking around shopping... He asked me where I purchased it, since i had bought it from the forums and didn't want to go into it I said it was a gift.

Third and final comment I've gotten was when I was walking around in the neighborhood where I live and a person noticed it was a BLNR and said "oh you're wearing the batman?" to which I replied "yes" and he said "nice, haven't seen one of those in person till now"

Needless to say I appreciated the last comment the most :)

Never "out loud" on my Rolexes, but they are definitely noticed.

My Breguet 5907 got a few sincere "Wow, that is a beautiful watch, who makes it?"

Vacheron ultrathin gets noticed occasionally, mostly by women admiring it.

JLC MUT Rose gold has had a few.

The funniest was: I was in a gun store selling an Ed Brown Kobra full size and the buyer says "Niiiice Jaeger (pronouncing it Yayger), is that the master" I almost wanted him to repeat it so I could video tape it for my wife-as this happened in a gun store, not known for this population to have an appreciation of finer dress watches.

Seems the dress watches illicit more actual comments, though I see that many men definitely notice the rolexes, but just don't comment on them audibly.

The watch that got the most attention for me is surprisingly not a Rolex. It is a watch that I bought when I turned 20. I think I spent $1,500 on it. Tag Heuer Aquaracer Quartz. I was very proud of it at the time. I remember tons of people would stop and say something. I actually still have it and found it today in storage...

After that I bought my Sub Date and had it for 8 years and it was invisible (never a single unsolicited compliment).

Now I have a Sub and its my favorite!

Only Rolex I've received multiple compliments on is the TT DJ41. My Explorer II flies under the radar (one of the reasons I bought it) and I hardly ever received compliments on my DSSD or GMT IIc.

And by far it is the RG YM for me.

I just wrote the same thing.

I just got mine back. And while I used to get compliments all the time, I have gotten about half a dozen people making comments in the last week.

One of my neighbors said that he thought it was the most beautiful watch he had ever seen.

I enjoy that sort of thing.

Which Rolex of yours gets the most compliments?

Not to many notice. Maybe a glance here and there but not much else. My wife prefers my BLNR most, but I prefer my SD43.

White SS Daytona gets noticed frequently for me. Maybe the way the silver Rolex crown is so noticeable on it???

My watch that is noticed most frequently is my AP SS with blue dial. Getting popular with a younger generation too now that AP is coming up in Pop songs. lol

"The AP going psycho, my Rollie goin brazy"

This thread has made me feel better, no comments from anyone after 7 days (!) with my DJ41 blue dial!! Thought it would get loads of attention but I think it is better this way and to be honest I have not commented on at least 5 Rolexes I have secretly admired in past 20+ years. Understated elegance, bought for me not other people

I actually thought my Zblue would be noticed more than anything I wear but I've actually had a few comments on my AK, one person asked "Is that an air king" ? Then I saw he was wearing a black Grand Seiko.

I thought when I bought my first Rolex that it would attract all kinds of attention and compliments, because its a ROLEX, right? (I didn't buy the watch for attention, it was for a milestone and I always wanted one, but in my mind I thought it would catch attention because my previous watches did and the Rolex was so much nicer than those).

Turns out that wasn't the case at all. It got ZERO attention over 8 years of daily wear whereas my cheap quartz watches I owned before would get compliments daily.

I wouldn't say "the most," but the last came on my 114060 from a kid behind the counter at gas station/convenience store. Rather unexpected.

Wore my DateJust41 every day for a year, and received a total of zero complements. Have worn my LVc (Hulk) for approximately four months and received no less than eight complements.

Hey, I'm just answering the man's question.

Definitely my RG DD, usually noticed by female cashiers. It goes like this:

Cashier: “I just LOVE your watch!”
Me: “Thanks.”
Cashier: “Is it Michael Kors?”
Me: “Yes. Good eye.”
