Birth Year Watch

I'm turning 40 this year and plan to add a birth year Watch, specifically a 16753 'Root Beer'. There is just something about that watch that speaks to me. It will be my 3rd Rolex behind my dad's 16013 and my 16710 Pepsi, and my first truly vintage piece.
Here is my problem, I cannot for the life of me find a model from 1977. Seems every thing I see is from 1979-1984. Am I missing something? Did Rolex not produce this model in 1977?
Appreciate any feedback the experts here can provide.

HI Ryan, you are correct, in that the 16750/16753 was not produced in 1977. It came into production in ~1980. If you could search for a root beer 1675 however... Good luck on the search.
