Has anyone seen applied Breitling logo coming off of the dial?

It looks like the logo on my Breitling Super Avenger is popping off the dial. Is this something a normal watchmaker could tackle or do you think I should send it to Breitling for a new dial?

Have you ever seen this before? I am really surprised and baffled that the logo would fall off the dial. Now I'm even worried that it could be a fake watch.

Not unheard of.
Is it under warranty?

That looks like a super Avenger dial? I've seen it come off once or twice. Usually from a drop or hard knock. Other pics didn't load. Every time I've encountered it, the warranty didn't cover it because the AD came to the conclusion that it's due to customer abuse.

I am familiar with someone who had it replaced under warranty. He was fortunate that the watch was in like new mint condition and they couldn't argue abuse. I guess if he had dings, it could have been a different outcome.

BTW, I can't see any OP photos but the watch I am referring to was in fact a Super Avenger. Seems they are suceptable to that and the known crown issue as well.

Dealers should take greater care educating a watch buyer on what's going on inside.

I've been eyeing the Avenger II GMT, this dial issue is news to me, and what's with the crown?

Avenger II and Super Avenger are two different watches. I have owned 4 Super Avengers and not one has encountered either of the issues mentioned. The two I currently have were both purchased by me from my AD in 2008 and have never been serviced.

From what I have read on Breitlingsource, there are many replica Super Avengers out there and majority of them suffer from crown issues.

Hope this helps a little!

No issues yet, mind it is only 4 months old..

Will keep an eye on it though

Yes, thanks, this helps. I understand they are different watches, and I intend to purchase from an AD, it just piques my interest in QC when I hear stories like this.

Thanks for the responses. The watch is not fake. I sent it to a reputable watchmaker and he is going to pop it back in. It seems it may have just been knocked loose during shipping so he is going to make sure the movement is fine as well, but it was just serviced so this shouldn't be an issue.

For those who couldn't see the pic, here it is:

Keep in mind successful stories of repair are by not going through the AD. Anything under warranty with Breitling will be fixed but you must contact them not the dealers.

These watches are tested under hard conditions so if a dial logo was coming off and the watch was still keeping time, would be a lame argument, Breitling would prob not argue a warranty repair anyway.

I had this happen on my Omega Aqua terra gmt and had to fight with omega to fix it (it was 8 months old) after 5-6 phone calls they finally agreed to fix it but after a lot of frustrating calls and a boutique manager that actually said "if I bought it at the boutique she would have gone to bat for me" while she tried to sell me on replacing the dial a 2 grand. Good luck with your fix

Crazy!

My coworker found a Breitling in his rental home, and one of the hands fell off. We're not sure if it's a fake. I can't post photos yet.
