Fondling my Daytonas

Happy New Year!!!

Got busted by the wife while fondling my Daytonas. Since I had some down time this past week, I retrieved some of my watches from the bank safety box.
She doesn't understand my obsession and why I have the same watches as she thinks they all look alike. Little does she know I'm on the hunt for a pair of 6263s.

Just needed to share with some people who would understand...

Zeniths, modern and ceramics! You've got all your bases covered Tom! Nicely done!

I'm not sure I could stand having those in a safety deposit box. I would want them nearby to wear..

Very nice! Appears they all have the stickers still on with the exception of the two Zenith Daytona’s.

Thanks! Only here on TRF would someone notice that the stickers are still present.
The two zenith still have the hologram and the protective sticker over it. Both pretty much NOS.

Alike??? Heck, just look at the placement of the subdials on some of them!

What a dynamite collection representing the model. One can't be blamed for fondling :-)

Sooooo....do you wear a watch? And if so, what do you wear?

Those are all cool, and I really love 6263s. But if you don't wear them, I guess "fondling" is as good as it gets.

I understand your collection and applaud the dedication; however, I will never understand not wearing your collection. What are you waiting for?

Very nice half-dozen right there. 3 generations of a truly iconic watch, and I hope you get a pair of 6263s soon!
