Tightening clasp older DD 18238

Gents,

I'd like to tighten my clasp from my DD 18238 a little. Sometimes it pops open when I put some strain on it.

In the picture below is a special tool for this purpose.

I don't have that tool and the watchmaker at the closest AD has no clue about this older style clasp and how to tighten it.
The knob on the clasp is not worn.

Can somebody perhaps describe me a "how to" or if I can use two pliers simultaneously and in which direction to bend ?

Thanks,

Thanks Mon, but this is what the AD tried as well.
It does not make the knob/stud sitting any tighter in the hole of the clasp.

If the knob or the hole aren't worn out this should work.

Just bend it a little bit more.

Forgot to mention, use your fingers and NOT pliers.

Thanks,

Your picture is only showing half the tool.
It requires two of the tools in the picture
Both placed on the clasp at the “knob”

The tools are then used to flex the “knob” open to tighten.
It doesn’t take much pressure to open the “knob”
