Rolex DateJust 41 SS White or Black Face?

Hello All

I am debating between a black or white face Rolex Date Just 41 SS smooth bezel Reference 126300 with Jubilee Bracelet.

Which one is the best all rounder for smart wear, i.e. Black, Grey, Blue suite.

Thank you very much for sharing your comments and advice.

Have you seen them in person? He black dial pictures do not do it justice. It’s got a sunburst effect. The white also pops. I’d say black would be more under the radar and classic. White really stands out and more sporty although the jubilee may dress it up some. I’d say black for suites.

Black dial will appear smaller and may be less legible.
White dial will appear larger and will be more legible.
Both are great choices and will fit any occasion. It's a great all around watch.
You'll need to try them both on to see which you prefer.

From your choices, I would go black.

However, I wouldn't count out the silver, rhodium, or blue either.

Black with smooth bezel and jubilee are very very nice. To me the blue doesn’t look right unless it’s on fluted bezel. I can’t explain why. The rhodium whilst nice just seems doesn’t create enough of a contrast.

Yes. Like the white on the Datejust 41 SS/WG as well. Smooth bezel I would go Rhodium.

Sorry OP I know neither of those are your question so I would go white of your two options.

I did the same search but included a blue dial as well. Ultimately, I went with black dial with the 18k fluted bezel, a lot of contrast, shows well, the black looks much better in person, classic look that works with a suit or jeans, very happy with my decision.

Oyster or jubilee? I’m just not sure if jubilee / fluted would be overly flashy with the 18k. They look incredible but I’d just question the versatility of the jubilee with shorts and T-shirt type attire.

Define “smart wear”

You buy what you like.

Jubilee, liked both bracelets, decided the jubilee would hide scratches better. Looks great with jeans and a nice shirt.

Best all rounder is silver. It reflects other colours to give it a different look every time you wear it. Rhodium looks great though.

Black = dull. White = too stark.

I had the same dilemma with silver and black.

I went with the black in the end and love it....

I think both of them are very nice. White dial is my favorite and I am saving my $ for that. I think white dial will match if you have tan or dark skin tone. Although a lot of people think Rolex DJ black dial is the best, I still think white is better.

I saw the black in person the other day and it’s really amazing White is nice too but totally different style in my opinion. White dresses it down a lot to me. The black sunburst look is just epic.

Both are great and would work very well with suits
Try them on and go with the one you like the most

I have to say that Blue is the most popular in a poll recently done on here
