Dial crown logo, uneven points

My 16800 dial was relumed by the previous owner so there is a soft glow. Not only does it glow but it makes the dial markers much whiter than the hands, which patina'd. So I was looking to replace the dial with something age appropriate and with a more similar color characteristic. I ran across this one but.. upon closer inspection, the crown logo looks a bit uneven. The height of the points look good but they all end at different parts on the crown. Can someone explain if this was a normal occurrence back in the 1980s? I always thought Rolex had a very high level of quality control over dial printing.

My goodness, buddy. Look at all this great feedback. This watch was like the frog whom became the prince. I'm happy you took that direction and you have one of a few out there.

beelzy: i understand Bart Simpson crowns were a thing for ref 5513 back in the 60s. This is supposed to be for a 16800. Still worth keeping?

This is interesting, I was posting on what I believed at the time to be a Red Sub with a service dial, not knowing it was attached to this thread.
