Everybody loves showing of their new pristine time pieces. And everyone savors those “incoming photos”, including myself.

Well, here’s some pics of what a real world BLNR looks like. I’ve had this for going on 3years and wear it about 70% of the time switching out between my other watches. I manage apartment buildings that I own but am mostly in the office half the day and don’t do much of the hands on maintenance (but not afraid to get my hands dirty). This comes from normal everyday wear and I don’t take it off for any manual labor.

This is just a lesson for those new watch owners and what expect with normal watch wear.

Wear it, enjoy it.

And you’ve probably enjoyed way more than the cost to polish it up. Keep on keepin’ on!

I remember a post where the owner was showing off and lamenting the scrapes on his watch; they were in the stickers which had never been removed.

Constantly at war with my OCD for a perfect, scratch free watch and the love of the enjoyment I get from wearing my Rolex!

Kudos to OP.. Watches are meant to be loved and enjoyed every chance we get!

Looks good! I like it.

I will say that it looks like you wear your watch pretty hard though. I had an Omega SMP for 9 years as my daily and it showed some wear but not that much and after the first few years I wasn't particularly careful with it.

I've worn my 114060 every day since I got it in April and it has tons of desk diver marks and some hairline scratches on the polished sides but that's it. Not nicks or dings yet.

I will say I've been wondering what the new 6 digit refs look like when worn hard....they look pretty good to my eye, nicely done!

Who do you like in the Olympics for curling? Great sport.

Oh and it's nice to see a well used Rolex.
