I seen my true love on a Rolex billboard

About 3 years ago in my area the first of 3 billboards started featuring the TT Blue Sub, until then I was not even aware of a TT Blue sub. I fell in love with it immediately. My question is why did I waste my time and money buying 4 other Rolex's before buying the TT Blue sub. The answer is simple I did not take the time to ask how much the TT Blue sub cost. Because of it's aristocratic color scheme, and gold I assumed it was extremely expensive, I assumed it was about $16K. Now I do this every time I think about it.

Well, I know how you feel. Sometimes you just have to buy and wear a lot of watches before you get the right thing.

And the good news is that here on TRF, all can learn more before buying a Rolex that is NOT the "right thing" for you

So true, I didn't even know about this forum until my 4th Rolex purchase.

I saw a similar poster of the Blue TT after I got mine. It was up for quite a long time. Kind of nice owning the "centerfold" model.

nko51,

Along my daily 70 mile commute to work I pass three billboards that feature a TT Submariner. This too is how I fell in love with the TT.... All I say now is, I wish my TT was as big as the one on the billboard

You guys are either helping me or driving me crazy. Still haven't decided.

Went from wanting a
1. Sub ND
2. Sub Date
3. Sea Dweller
4. Omega SMP (don't know how that slipped in)
5. GMT-II black
6. White Exp II
7. Sub Date / SD (aka, still undecided)
Sub Date fits better on my 6.5" wrist
SD looks SWEEEEEET and clean but rides high

I'll have to decide before September (rumored price gouging , I mean price increase)

The classic Rolex is the SS Sub date, if you are more careful and do not need to worry about bumping things then get the TT Blue sub.

I have noticed over the past 15 years that prices of goods rise in relation to the USA national debt. Since 2001 prices on most desireable good have gone up by approx 33%. We expect another raise in the national debt this October, depending on what the new ceiling will be, will determine the amount of inflation the market will have to bare. I fear my prediction is true, but I hope I'm wrong.

It's likely just burried under arm hair. Try trimming and it will probably turn up right where you last saw it.
