Icon20 Where to find and compare prices? Barnebys?

Hello Rolex Forum!

I was wondering what everyone uses to find available Rolex's and to compare prices. I have been using Barnebys.com as a good place to research available inventory and prices, but you can't buy directly from them. Anyone else use this or other search engines?

To Research prices but not to buy: watch recon, chrono24, eBay, trusted sellers websites, our for sale forum here.

Thanks jpaenney! Do you have more success researching / buying through auctions, consigners, or both?

Thanks.

Just browsed barnebys and the prices I saw looked inflated. I second watchrecon.com.

+1

You can also look at 'completed' listings on ebay to kind of give a 'low' ball park estimate.

I also usually find that the trusted sellers around here are close to where the price should be, and the premium you pay there is for the 'peace of mind' of dealing / sending money to a reputable source.

And remember to use common sense - nobody gives away a rolex. If the price is 'too good to be true' --- it probably is and def good practice to stay away.

Good luck!!

alanfurman.com isn't bad to get an idea of what a reasonable (maybe not the best) discount could be
