Bon voyage....outgoing.

We see lots of individual Rolex incoming threads here on TRF, has anyone started a Rolex owners group outgoing thread? Share your thoughts on the watch, why you are saying farewell and generally any insights you might think that could help others in their watch selling or purchasing decisions. All in one ongoing thread for quick simple reference. If not let's start one here.

Interesting idea. I’ll start, outgoing are my 3 daily rolexes wearers to fund recent incomings and to take a break from the crown.

-Daytona C black dial
-BLNR
-DSSD

You could say that I’ve arrived at step 2 of Rolex ownership (Rolex is a gateway brand to others :cough: PP)

If anyone is interested, all of the watches are FS at by design jewelers in coral gables. They’re no longer mine, therefore this is not a shameless plug.

Good idea for a thread . Recently sold a 2015 SubC because it just wasn't getting any wrist time , probably wore it about 20 times . The reason I sold it was to help fund a 16610LV purchase , as it was a 50th birthday present to myself . Glad I did the trade as I wear the 16610LV as my daily wearer now, & would never consider selling it .Got current retail price for the SubC by the way as part of the trade, so was more than happy to let it go .

Wow, you must have really wanted a PP! 3 great watches for 1 elite watch. I prefer having several options and love all the ones you just traded. What model PP did you buy? I certainly hope it’s a complication such as perpetual calendar in platinum for that deal.

Well, I didn’t exactly trade FOR the PP... it was equal parts boredom (mainly with the gmt and deepsea) and also a side effect of acquiring 3 new watches in just a few weeks.

In the order which they arrived:

Already know I need a nautilus next, preferably also with the Tiffany on the dial

Recently sold a Milgauss to fund an incoming DJ41 . Loved the Z Blue but a little heavy on my wrist. Highly recommend the Z for someone without wrist problems. Great dial and loved the lightning bolt design. Stock photo of DJ ordered coming in next week.
