Icon7 Explorer 14270 Question!

I just bought my first Rolex, a 36mm 1996 Explorer (T serial) model 14270. But the bracelet is a 78360 with markings of V5 // 558 B (clasp is not the folding safety kind).

From what I can tell, V5 is for the year 1996, so this makes sense.

But some charts I've found online show that this model doesn't match that T series, while other posts on the forums say it did.

When I find other 14270s online for sale, most have a safety clasp, but some others don't.

Basically, can someone explain this? Is this bracelet not original? Or was it an option of some kind? Trying to find this info online has been very difficult.

Thank you!
