I've been moving away from "bigger" watches lately actually. Also, while I do feel it's a beautiful dial it is busy, with a lot of functionality I don't need. The one you linked is my favorite version of the watch though |

in the 25k range outside of dress watches you have: AP (RO Chronos) Patek (5711 if you can find one, 5164) Rolex (Gold subc, gold pepsi, skydweller gold on leather, ym 2 gold, gold daytona but you have 116500) There are others but these are the staples in that range. Good luck!

I posed this thread as a general exploration into the "up to $25k" budget, but in reality I was prepping for a big acquisition and just wanted to do all my homework before making the commitment. As many know I end up getting the 116519 White Gold Daytona on Oysterflex. It is absolutely incredible and I have no plans or intentions of ever parting from it. It will be a while before I acquire another watch in this price range, but I'm pretty sure my next watch goal will be towards Patek. If I can figure out a way to get a 5711 at/around retail I will jump at it, and I also have my eye on a 5164. However the 5164 might be a little too casual for the position in the collection. The 5711 is really where I'd like to be at some point in the near future. I'd almost definitely have to give up my 15400 Blue to get it which is fine by me. Anyhow, this years toy budget is long gone, so for now we can keep discussing and dreaming of haute horology :) I also really do love the Journe Bleu. It looks really special to my eyes. |

116655 Rose Gold on Oysterflex
or 326934 in Blue Either way, you should have a few dollars left under $25k to pocket too. |

Did you sell the SD43? Haven't seen it on your IG feed in a while. I'd also go for the 5711, given you can find one at retail or similar.

Now that is one sexy wrist... nice watch too I suppose.
The previous version had the numerals free but this is a better size at 39mm. |

Yeah the SD43 is gone. Fantastic watch. Nothing bad to say about it except that I’ve been all about the 40mm case lately.

Didn’t you have one before? I think you need to re-acquire one again.
