Flash clocks update!

I finally got some more work done on my Flash clocks! I got the cyclops so it magnifies now, so that's really cool. I also did a few minor tweaks that you probably won't notice, just fixed some scaling issues and the reflection off the crystal and cyclops. I updated the clocks on my server, so anyone who's linked to them will automatically get the updates.

Would that work on the desktop, too?

BTW: Just a suggestion: Could you get the writing on the dial of the SS Sub Date more white?

It'll work on the PC as an active desktop. I'll post instructions in a sec. The text on the Sub Date should already be white, but I'll take a look to make sure.

Here's how you set your 'active desktop'.

Windows XP instructions:

1. Right-click the desktop, select properties
2. Select the Desktop tab
3. Select the Customize Desktop button
4. Select the Web tab
5. Click the New button
6. In the location field enter this URL: http://www.colemanitis.com/clock_16610.html
7. Click OK (you'll need to click OK on all open windows)

To get the other clocks, replace the URL with these:
http://www.colemanitis.com/clock_blue.html
http://www.colemanitis.com/clock_black.html
http://www.colemanitis.com/clock_green.html

Also, if it's after 6PM where you live the clocks will be in "lume mode". To see them "during the day" adjust your clock to before 6PM.

Can you make the writing on the dial more white in the lume mode?

I have just added it to my active desktop!

I absolutely LOVE it!

First I couldn't figure out to make it fill out the whole desktop, but you can maximize it by clicking on it and choose the maximize button!

GREAT stuff!

The way the second hand changes under the cyclops is excellent, great attention to detail.
One slight suggestion is the coronet alignment on the Green Sub, is it just my computer or is it a little to the right of the tip of the 12 hour marker?

Wow, very cool. Is there anyway to make the white box around it transparant so the wallpaper shows through it?

I'll take a closer look at the coronet. Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of, since the Flash file is emedded in to a HTML page. The background of the HTML page can be changed, but it has to be a solid color. Let me know if you need help changing this.

Hi Jeff,

Wonderful job. Love it so much, this is what I'm looking for.

However, if you change the content in your web address, will it still work on my computer desktop?

Hi Jeff. My desktop wants to be WHITE when your watch is on. When starting up my pc, coming to the desktop the background is blue to start with and then turns white when the watch appears.

Is that normal?

The other question about if the watch would work on our pc's if you change the web content would interest me, too.

He was saying that our desktop will automatically follow his web content. Means if he changes the web content then we're doomed.
