Icon6 The perfect watch, the perfect car, and they match!

Some time ago, I got the D-Blue. I hadn't seen it in real life, so it was a bit of a gamble when I bought it from one of our trusted sellers here.

Fortunately, the gamble paid off and it hasn't left my wrist since the day I got it. I quickly adjusted to its larger size and with the diver's extension uninstalled, it is a VERY comfortable watch! The versatility of this piece is absolutely amazing, and the dial is just incredible!!!

Fast forward a few weeks.. I got bored with my BMW 550i and wanted something with more life to it. I shopped around for a handful of cars, first eyeballing the new BMW M's, but being a V8 kind of guy I dismissed the brand new models and decided that I would look for an E9x M3 with the naturally aspirated 4.0L V8.

I found a couple of 2-dr E92's locally for sale, and setup a test drive with one of them - and I fell in love with it right away!!! The only problem was that I did not want to give up the extra two doors, since I knew that my wife and young daughter would drive in it every so often. The E92 wasn't going to work for me

I did some research and landed on the 4-door E90 M3, only these things were actually somewhat hard to find in my area! I kept my eyes open over the next few weeks, and then finally - I find one in Le Mans Blue for sale ~250 miles away. It wasn't the Melbourne Red that I had hoped for, but I had to go down and check it out nonetheless. The next morning, I was at the dealership. A little over an hour after the test drive, she was mine!

So now I have what I would consider to be the perfect car and the perfect watch, and as an added bonus the two of them seem to be a perfect match

Awesome watch and awesome car! Congratulations.

The watch dial matches the car logo!

Congrats! Awesome choice of car and watch. The E9x m3s are great/special cars, with the last of the NA V8s. Love the looks of both the 2 and 4 door. Had a e92 335i for several years and think its one of the best coupe bodystyles on any car ever (still miss it!).

What year 550 did you have?

Lovely car, and a great match for the dial. I used to have an E92 335i, and that was a really great car.
