I love the dial, and I'll vote for WG.

Whichever you decide on, it's an amazing watch either way!

So the poll here is this:
If someone offered to give you one of these two,
Which would you choose,
ROSE 228235
or
WHITE 228239

p.s. apologies if this poll has been done, but please play again
Saw both in person last week, and the RG version would be my choice.

This is quite a matchup. Both winners but I like the more conservative wg. That said, it's got a flute and green dial so I don't think this one qualifies for stealth mode. Keep us posted. Hope you can locate the wg.

I tried on both.. I picked WG.

Main reason for my choice is the day date wheel. The day and date wheel comes in a white background which is perfect for WG. The white background is too stand out on the RG. Only if Rolex will put in a offwhite day-date wheels background to match the RG, I do seriously consider getting the RG too. No harm in owning both.

I voted the rose gold. Clearly, both are sharp but the RG has it for me.

If your paying for gold, I sure would want it to look like gold.

Paying big bucks for white gold is sort of like pealing the Ferrari badges off your car. Clearly a personal choice---but that red gold is amazing in person whereas the white gold is basically the same as stainless--visually speaking that is.

For some reason that green dial makes the rose gold seem so versatile. Killer piece either way!

The white gold is basically the same as platinum--visually speaking that is.

Since you are comparing it to stainless(visually speaking that is)and there are no stainless President bracelets but plenty of platinum ones.

You're both right! For me; I recently moved to PM, so WG wears the same as a SS piece; except for weight/feel. I am now gravitating toward 'gold should look like gold' crowd, not to be flashy per se, but to have a completely different wearing experience in both look and weight. I've also mentioned it before, but in this particular piece the RG IMO is more 'youthful' relaxed and versatile, the WG comes off more serious 'stern' if you could impart a personality to a watch that is. Ultimately, all subjective! No losers here.

Well said! Only true WIS and myself would know is white gold, no need for it to scream "look at me, am solid gold"

I don't own either one but if I had to choose it'll be RG all day. If I chose WG it'd be blue dial. RG and green dial works so well together.

I'm just not into the green, would not be one of my choices for a DD dial.

Voted WG since that is my general preference overall.

That said, this dial combo looks really nice with the RG IMO. I just don't wear RG ..if I did, the decision would be much harder.

In the pictures, I like the RG version. But, I'm not sure I've ever even tried on a full RG watch. Had the TT RG YM2, but full RG...I would have to see it in the flesh and try it on to see for sure.

Thanks Steve.. still on the fence with this one, not the look as it a beauty it's just a big jump from my typical SS purchases.
