Submariner Blue Sunburst or Green Sunburst both in SS
We know that the Sub Hulk is more popular than the Sub Bluesy because it comes in SS than TT.
But "what if" Rolex would offer (I'm sure this is not going to happen) the Sub Blue Sunburst dial in SS as well. What would you choose if you only have the option to buy one? In my case, I would choose the Sub Blue Sunburst dial because it's more versatile. p.s. don't know what happen to the poll creation page when I hit submit can a moderator please add the poll choices: Sub Blue Sunburst Dial and Sub Green Sunburst Dial. |

I'd buy a blue sunburst steel sub instantly. I'm very fond of the "genre" of blue-dial steel watches on a steel bracelet, and I'd leap to get one from Rolex. Although, if possible I'd also prefer it to be more sunburst-y than the current Smurf.
But, of course, it'll never happen. Rolex offers it with enough other steel models that I doubt they feel any need to cannibalize sales from the Smurf. |

After owning a Bluesy for 20 years, I cant say the blue is any more or less versatile than the Hulks sunburst green dial on a all SS watch. Blue or green go with anything. Dress it up or down the sunburst is magical. The green is the Rolex signature color so it might even be more appropriate on their most popular model. Both blue and green just work on the Sub.

I'd choose the LVc and the YG Blue Subc as my sunburst pair. I think green and silver, and gold and blue are perfect combos.

For versatility...I'd have a blue sunburst SS Sub in a minute! Although the green is a fantastic dial, and very versatile as well. Both in a collection would be fantastic! My blue/green versions in rotation right now are the SS DJII blue dial, and YG GMT green dial

Green needs to be seen to be appreciated. That said, I would still say green.

I would not have picked the bluesy if it didn't have the YG tone in it. The YG color gives it the character it has. Without it, it would be a second choice for me, relative to LV's beautiful green.
I always compare the beauty of Bluesy to that of ancient Egyptian artifacts. To bring out the beauty of that blue, yellow gold is a must!

They would need to change the dial text to red imo.

Not a fan of blue watches, so my choice of the two is green.

Since there's no such SS blue sunburst, I'm going with LVc.

Just the thought of a stainless Blue dial Sub is something...might even rival the Daytona C.

I think it's a fantastic idea and would be in high demand but I still prefer the green. Just my personal choice although Rolex sunburst blue is absolutely beautiful from all angles.

I like the idea of a blue dial SS Rolex Sub. However, blue is so ubiquitous. My problem is that I have too many time pieces with blue. So my choice is the LVc. It's the Rolex color as previously noted. There isn't another watch like it...it is simply amazing in person.

I would probably buy one but I honestly love the emerald green of the LVc.

I have a Panerai with a sunburst blue dial and I have my LVc, so both bases are covered

Back to the original question, i'd choose the LV's dial, because it looks stunning in all light conditions. The Bluesy's dial looses that little purple shade in bright lighting. |

Definitely blue if SS, I already have a bluesy as well
But I think green really is not a good colour to match in all honesty. If you think about if you had green shoes, or a green bag or even just a light green shirt it automatically makes it pretty casual. Whereas with blue it such a classic and so easy to match, that's why blue is such a trendy colour now and even in recent history |

Literally the dream, but would crush smurf sales.

If such watch existed though it would've been my top choice but the hulk grew on me so much that I'm even considering it as my next watch.

I never really cared for the hulk, I think just not a big fan of the green, and do feel it's not as common color used in fashion as blue (mostly due to the use of blue in jeans). I have seen the hulk in person and in the wild, and still not drawn to it.
I don't mind a little green like in my Milgauss GV, but I just feel like it would be hard for me personally to wear the Hulk everyday. |

I've had both the LV and TT. If it were were available in the SS, I'd get the blue. But it's not.
