Lost my Rolex on the golf course, it was miraculously found 2 days later!!
This past Sunday I played golf with my father in law at his country club. When we finished the round we loaded the clubs in our cars before heading in for a drink and a bite to eat. That’s when I noticed that my GMTIIc was not on my wrist! I was in total shock and couldn’t believe that I didn’t notice it earlier. We went to the pro shop to let the staff know. The man that we spoke with was extremely helpful. He asked me to text him pictures of the watch (easy for wis to provide). We got a drink and left. The next day I called my insurance agent to let him know what happened (luckily I have a seperate policy for the watch). He said we should wait a week before filing in case the watch turns up. I was extremely busy with work on Monday and Tuesday that I forgot about the watch incident. I received call on Tuesday afternoon from a unrecognised number. The man said, “did you see my next, we found your watch” !!! I was so happy. The guy from the pro shop told me that Miguel found your watch in the rough on the 10th hole!! I drove the course and gave a generous reward to Miguel along with a case of Mexican beer. He was very happy. I also gave a thank you card and gift card to the man from the pro shop. The man from the pro shop told me that Miguel found the watch while cutting the rough.
The watch fell off my wrist because it was on a nato strap that slipped out of the hole at the buckle. I threw that strap in the garbage! The watch is back in the original bracelet, and will remain on it for as long as I own the watch. Here’s the picture that the guy from the pro shop texted me.  And here’s the watch back on the bracelet.

Amazing recovery, spared you so much hassle and pain, well done that man! Lesson here is never play sports with or trust totally your father in law no matter how much he seems to have forgiven you for defiling his daughter.

Very fortunate that it didn't get run over by the mowers when they were cutting the rough. Can you imagine what it would look like after a few mower passes across it!!!

OMG, I am so glad the story had a happy ending. Lesson learned: It's recommended that you not wear a Rolex while playing golf, it's bad for the movement.

Phiew close call! Glad you got it back! but it seems like the pin from the buckle broke..? at least from what I can see from the picture.

That's why I don't play Golf anymore...
congrat's to an honest person, who may or may not drink Mexican Beer... I'm glad this story has a happy ending, because that is a scary feeling. I will never buy a Nato Strap!
