I Got The Call But....

Following from the title of the thread, I turned it down because it was not the model I like the most. My AD called me to inform that they have one Sky Dweller in their inventory :326933 champagne dial, I like two tones but given the rarity of stainless steel variant I want it first and then kindly refused it. When I asked about when it would arrive, blue dial, they were clueless. Champagne dial is nice but for two tones white works better to me
I'm not disappointed just it is like your favorite team can't win a game when you want them to win.
I think it's worth the wait Sky Dweller 326934

I would have done the same - the blue S/S model is worth waiting for.

Coincidentally, I too got the call from my AD and turned down the offer, though it wasn't for a Sky-Sweller but the blue Deepsea. Couldn't justify the purchase as I already own the black version and just had it serviced at RSC for around US$700.

If you're spending that much money, it only makes sense to at least get what you want.

Tougher call will be if they receive the black dial and offer it to you...

I wouldn’t buy anything that I didn’t love so that was the smart move in my opinion.

I would have done the same too, it´s not worth to buy something so expensive if you don´t want it 100%...

In contrast to many of the posts here, I think you should have picked it up.

i came across a Sky dweller white dial at an airport duty free last Friday (got there just after their shipment had arrived) and I passed...and have been kicking myself ever since!!!

I liked it (didn’t love it, though) and could have enjoyed it for some months until my desired bluebdial comes in, and likely flipped it for a slight profit

Wait for the one you really want ,I tried a champagne TT at my AD and didn't like it, but I'm not a TT fan and hate champagne dials !!
