Call them and ask. You seem like the perfect customer they are looking for.

They couldn’t care less.

Out of this entire thread this is what you chose to focus on?

Yeah, this plays like a vinyl LP with a skip in its groove.

It goes to show the level of indifference a seller can exhibit yet still exist using different platforms to hide their shortcomings.

For example, top hit on Google when searching for jaztime reviews:

The 8th hit is a very old TRF thread:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=141178

By rigorously paring and shaping their rep, threads like this are lost in the digital ink methinks.

Just sharing in the spirit of explaining how GigE sellers can bury the bad news.

Ok, I’ll ask. Though JazTime what?

Anyways, you get the point. This post is to help my fellow TRF members steer clear of businesses that treat potential customers the way they do. Many better alternatives. Cheers!

This is exactly correct. This is how they hide all of their bad reviews. Instead of fixing the problem they hide them. It’s actually sad that what they are doing works. It’s easier to manipulate the system then it is to change ones rude behavior.

Still a vendor should not respond this way to the customer even if customer is wrong.

If you look at all situations the customer has not been wrong at all. There is clearly an issue with the seller.

To anyone not sure if OP deserved the treatment he got, just goto their yelp page, and be prepared to pick your jaw up off the floor !

This is from the first two 1-star review “manager responses”. Shocking ... these people are mentally ill

... Newport Beach, CA yelp listing

BTW in the beginning of the first review the manager doxxes the customer !

Wow. They are really something. How anyone buys from them is beyond me. Sad thing is that most buyers just don’t know.

I've been dealing with JazTime for the last week and and half in an attempt to buy a precious metal Rolex. I can confirm that these guys are the most incompetent, childish, rudest retailer I've ever had the displeasure to interact with. Madison Ward is arguably the worst person in the watch business. She is beyond rude and impatient. Ken Chou is not far behind her.

I agree. I would hate for my fellow forum members to waste their money on them. They obviously run their business in a manner that is more than disrespectful.

I’m sorry you have been dealing with that. You deserve better and I hope you can find another place to buy. From what I understand they list watches and than source them for you. Not all but some. That too is shady imo.

"Buy the seller, not the product." That's a great insurance policy against being taken advantage of. Life is too short and precious to support people who care nothing about what they're doing.

I’m not sure why people deal with sellers like this. There any many honest, trusted sellers who go out of their way to ensure a positive experience and great transaction. I would be embarrassed if I were them.

If he’s going to ask this to each customer then who is he going to sell Hahahaha.

He wants your money first and then “TRY” to get the watch. He doesn’t even confirm if he can get it.
I’m comfortable paying first but at least he should confirm if he can even get it.
Very RUDE person. Please avoid.
I received a similar email today. I was asking common questions about sales tax and delivery and trying to navigate the checkout system and he had heard enough. He told me no more emails. Buy it or don’t.

It’s amazing to me how they are in business. Do people really just buy now and don’t read reviews? They are nasty and don’t even have the watches they sell on hand. I’ve read where they change prices when your about to pay. They say they can change prices at anytime. Buy it or don’t with some nasty comments. I hope they get exposed for who they are but there seems to be enough people who don’t care.

In fairness to them, their FAQ section does spell out pretty clearly that if you’re looking for a customer service experience, they aren’t the place.

They claim to have a YM42 for $1 below retail, which appears to be a few grand better than what I’m seeing elsewhere. That’s why I’d even think about dealing with the BS. For a few hundred? No.

You go ahead and buy it. Let us all know how it turns out for you. A YM2 should be the easiest sports model to get at an AD.

The clown just told me to F off. He felt I was sending too many emails regarding a simple $30,000 watch purchase. LOL
