Just announced: Hodinkee/SWATCH LE Sistem51 "Vintage 84" $150

Just ordered mine, will do nicely for the gym and dark alleys. Who else is getting one, and thoughts? |

I thought about it but just don't think it will get any wrist time. I wish I had a young nephew or someone to buy it for.

I’m getting one. Always wanted a sistem 51 and this seems like the one to get.

Yeah. I’m thinking the same. Doesn’t seem to have any hodinkee branding which is perfect. Edit : I ordered one. Looking forward to it.

I ordered one. I, and my wife, get a lot of wear out of these in the summer, or on vacation.
This will be Sistem 51 #4 for me. |

I ordered one too, I think it’s a pretty cool collaboration.

I thought it looks pretty cool. I already own a Sistem51 (cream) which doesn't see any wrist time, so not going to buy another, but this one does look pretty good.

Nephews with 14 Rolex don’t count. No ozzies either

I ordered one just now, what the heck its only $150.
Fun little watch. I see this was posted yesterday. Is the production of this item even limited or are they just taking as many orders as possible>? |

Their product page says limited, but I think they just mean it won't be a massive production run like standard 51 models. Especially since you can only order from hodinkee or get it from the flagship store in times Square.

I have the Navy, and enjoy it. Two would be one too many for me, but if I didn’t have one, this would be a good choice.

Not surprised it sold out... offer a $150 Swiss mechanical watch to a bunch of watch nerds, they're gonna buy it. I would think Swatch can produce more with relative ease though.
I ordered one... looking forward to fooling around with it. I thought about picking up a Sistem51 a few times (mostly in airports while waiting for flights) but this is the first one where the design appeals to me. I'm glad they didn't do it in metal like they mentioned in the video. I think Swatches in metal look and feel incredibly cheap. Better to embrace the plastic at this price point. |

I like it but feel as if they are late to show with this one

I'm going to go by the store on 12/12 to see it in real life. $150 isn't a ton of money, but if I don't really believe I'll wear it regularly then it's a no-go.
I've yet to wear on, but am worried that the diameter is too large.

No idea how “limited” they are but today’s drop sold out in about two hours.
I ordered, just seems cool that it’s a hodinkee colab. |

I just got mine today. For $150, it's not too bad. But it's certainly not as good as in what Hodinkee review suggests.
