Rolex Grail.
What is everyone's grail from Rolex? Why?
Mine is a white dialed Milgauss. I love the look as it is simply different from anything Rolex (Or anyone else for that matter) has to offer. Thoughts? |

I've always liked Subs--they remind me of my dad as he favors dive watches. But I also really dig the Explorer II (polar). It would be a tough decision if I had to make it now. I guess Sub date is the one I've wanted the longest, but I'm trying to keep an open mind these days.

I'd sell important bits of myself for a MilSub. (in fact I've already offered Ken several spare body parts in exchange for his. Sadly, he declined!)
A combination of the rarity and wondering what action it might have seen make it beyond übercool in my book!

My first Rolex is my grail - because IMO it is the epitome of a classy/sporty Rolex.

For me it's the Sub LV 50th Anniversary. I've had many opportunities to buy one for some dumb reason I always end up getting something else.
I just love everything about that shiny green bezel. Ceramic just doesn't do it for me.

SS Daytona with White Dial. One of these days I'll own it, but for now there's still a couple on my short list I'll probably get before that (including a Milgauss GV.)

I just got my grail this year....a new TT DJ with white/Romans dial, super jubilee bracelet. This one just simply caught my eye some time back. To me, it's a classic Rolex. Have to admit however, I'm spending lots of time looking at Subs and GMT IIs now. Probably will not be for some time yet but one of these will be next.

Day Date 41mm President in gold. My father purchased a used one from a guy that was going through a divorce and got an incredible deal on it. To me its the most luxurious Rolex out there. I would like to have one but I don't wear a suit to work so I don't think I would want to wear it everyday and I think a Rolex is made to wear everyday.
