Rolex Oyster Perpetual 31 Tiffany Blue

Hi,
I'm considering purchasing a Rolex OP Torquoise (Tiffany Rolex) 31mm from watchexchange in singapore, its priced at $13700 SGD

Is this a good buy? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Well your chances of getting one through an AD are about 0% so the secondary market is about your only chance. I would make sure that it comes with the white hang tag to prove that the turquoise dial is original and authentic. There are a lot of OP's out there with aftermarket turquoise dials.

That's a big markup! The Turquoise OP is a desirable one as we all know, but I don't think the 31mm is as high of demand. I am thinking it might be worth a try to ask your local AD for one? Things have been easing up lately, so it's definitely worth a shot?

Thanks for the info, i've done some more research on this and it seems the white tag is very important to authenticate the dial of this watch. Would anyone know what the last 4 digits on the white tag that would correspond to the tiffany blue dial?

For the 31mm it’s 0007. The difficulty in getting this piece is that ADs simply don’t receive many of them. For turquoise blue and the yellow (discontinued), many ADs have mentioned that they have gotten maybe 2 in a year, while others have yet to see any. In a nutshell, compared to the steel Daytonas, these colored OPs are the real unicorns (of course the ss Daytona demand is much higher as well). I’m not sure how the last year has shaped up, but for the first 2 yrs after release, this was the common theme.

I can confirm that this is true. I know an AD who has received exactly one turquoise in all sizes combined since their release.

Okay so this is actually a gift for my wife, she also doesn't mind the OP 31mm tiffany celebration dial.

What are your thoughts regarding investment potential between the OP Tiffany Rolex and the OP Tiffany Celebration Rolex both in 31mm?

out of curiosity, would you say a SS Daytona is more in demand or Coloured OP?

If you're interested in "investment Potential"

You should consider a different forum.
