127 Fiddy Remembrance thread

I just grabbed this from my bank safe. It hasn’t seen wrist time for 18 months or more. I fancied wearing it for a few days.

Post your fiddy if you have one

The way the domed crystal distorts the numbers around the edge is awesome.

Not seen this as pronounced on any other reference

That looks mint!! Great reminder, mine's also been sleeping in the bank safe and could use some exercise. Where'd all the other fiddys go?

Stunning shot! Don't you just love that distortion on the dial edges from the crystal? This watch is just so unique

I am contemplating buying 127, my grey dealer has 4 available now, only problem is my wrist is 6.5” & I’m worried the lugs are going to overhang. Nevertheless it’s a beauty worth keeping.

Your dealer has four?!!! That’s very rare indeed, there are only 1950 of them worldwide. Does the dealer specialize in the Fiddy? I’m intrigued.

These rarely come up for sale but there’s one right now on ebay. This is the watch that inspired the Fiddy, the 6152 with a Rolex movement.

I really like the 127 but never got around to buying one. I have owned several 422's but not the same.

At current market prices, the Fiddy is seriously undervalued. It's about to enter "vintage' territory which traditionally is beneficial to watch values.

I'm always on the lookout for the next safe-queen.

I just traded my way into a 217, which I guess is pretty much the same watch but a destro, with Marina Militare markings. Arriving tomorrow. Right under the wire. :)
