Question for 16570 owners on rubber gasket on crown
So both my subs when I pull out the crown I can see a couple of the rubber gaskets. I noticed I don’t see them on my 16570. Obviously different watches, but it seems logical that I would be able to see something when the crown is pulled.
Does this look right to you or can anyone provide insight or pictures of their crown pulled out on their 16570? Mine is 1998. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is a twin lock crown/tube which does not have the gasket on the tube like the trip lock, this is 100% correct.

Most Rolex watches use the Twin-lock, shown on the left, and this is what is installed on your Exp II. The one on the right is the Trip-lock, found on Rolex current Divers and a few others.
The seals are shown in red and are mainly located inside the tube. Rolex_Twinlock_Triplock.jpg
