I don't go anywhere important without my ultra-reliable Bolex-Paillard H8. And, naturally, a LEICINA SPECIAL with Leitz Macro Cinegon 1.8/10mm for it's warmth. Full darkroom gear is a must. There's always room to spare.

Does Tumi mostly come in black? My wife bought me some and it is black.

I usually buy luggage of some crazy unique color so that I can spot it a mile away.

I made the mistake once of taking home someone else's luggage.

Pretty much most of the leather Tumi is either Black or Brown, you can get some of the aluminum pieces in different coloring and also the ballistic/nylon has some coloring offerings.....

Outstanding quality.
My son bought a Tumi wallet when he was 22. He'll be 25 next month. It'll be fun to see how long before he feels the need to replace it.

Sorry, it's been a while. I don't remember what type of material but I bought it directly from Tumi site back in 2013 and they don't list these anymore.

Market research showed that the Dragos isn’t that popular with the ladies.

All our rolling cases are Tumi, for decades (besides equipment cases, which tend to be Pelican or Thinktank). Personally, I'm dragging round a 20" 2-wheeler wherever and whatever length I go, it can expand if I need to pack a winter coat when arriving at a warmer local. Simply brilliant, professional, under the radar and fits in any overhead bin (unless a serious commuter plane). Always combined with a smaller cabin bag/backpack etc. for versatility and additional capacity. Haven't checked a bag for personal travel in decades (also not bringing the kitchen sink)...

I’ll join in…I’ve had this purse for 3 yrs. It still looks new.
Note, I did search for the 2015 Dragos bag to no avail. Was it a limited edition or now out of production? Maybe it’s a collectors item now!

That would look GREAT. Have never seen that color combo before; I probably would have purchased that one…or both.

Have the Nathan myself. Great backpack. The ballistic nylon is perfect for traveling. Surprised how much I can fit inside if. Will have to get a picture of all the travel gear.

20+ year old TUMI Man Purse

This is over 20 years and could be as much as 23 years old. Its my very first piece of Tumi I bought and my very lucky "MAN PURSE" as my kids call it... Zips are not working and leather is really getting wore out but dont have the heart to toss it in the dumpster..

Rewind to 1993. I was 25 years old, was getting along well in my professional career, and yet had three kids & a stay-at-home wife, a slightly-too-expensive house for my income at the time, and constant stress each month whether the books would balance. A black leather TUMI briefcase seemed like a recklessly extravagant splurge, when I wanted it to mark a nice promotion at work. But I purchased it anyway, "betting on myself", and optimistic as to what the future would bring.

Now, 28 years later, it's like an extension of me. This bag has been all around the world, as my loyal and sturdy business companion. I know every pocket and cubby like the back of my hand, and it has "a place for everything and everything in its place". I polish and buff the leather about once a year, and it still looks great. Life's been good.

Punch line: Buy quality, and you won't regret it.

The little TUMI leather wallet you see is almost as old as the bag, and has served just as well.

Meanwhile, the Sea-Dweller is brand new . . . .

I've used them for years.

Great styling, but I have had mechanical problems with them in the past.

I'll send them in to be repaired, but they usually give me credit towards a new one.
