This is a very odd post to me. After everyone outed this scam artist, a strange post above supporting a purchase. Send pics of your "refurb dial".

Yurki is well known for selling after-market dials and cases. After market is another name for fake.

I just visited Yuki's site for the first time-- made me want to upchuck. The worst part is the testimonials from customers talking about what great integrity he has. I guess maybe he does aside from the fact that his whole business is based on BOLD-FACED FRAUD. Is that called honor among thieves or something?

OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer".

In the case of Rolex that means Rolex.

In the case of OEM car parts it means parts made by an outside company that supplies parts for Ford but can also sell the same part under their own brand name outside of the Ford dealer network,in England these are known as pattern parts.

Aftermarket parts are made by non OEM comanies and sometimes people tend to confuse the two because they do not understand the difference.

In the aircraft industry parts are mostly OEM sold under their OEM name to Boeing or Airbus or any other aircraft company.

Guess the OEM in relation of Rolex is not 100% applicable as they seem to produce or elaborate nearly all of the components themselves or through companies they have bought up along the years . I believe even COSC is owned by Rolex so they certify their own watches .
What I meant was that Rolex will consider all parts not supplied by themselves or altered as counterfeit and refuses to honor warranty nor service any watch fitted with any of these parts .

I know what you meant but for the sake of newer readers I thought a clarification of the terminology might be helpfull.

Methinks a Mod might want to query Bigjule111 to see if he is legit, a shill or in fact the counterfeiter himself.

That ID has been strangely silent since first post. And his last login was the day after mcjp6 advised him to be careful.

Hello a friend of mine just offered me a 9411 tudor sub for sale.
He said he bought it a few years ago from Yukiwatch.
I am weary that this is a fake case how can I tell the difference?
Watch has no paperwork and the dial is refinished. Further looks rather legit movement is ligit but might be from an old prince.

This is exactly what I'm trying to fight.
Counterfeiters mixing fake and original parts to fool people with rare and expensive Rolex models.
These guys are getting better and better.
We must stop this mess!
Thanks Michael for bringing this up!

This has been a widespread practice for decades and something that many of what we nowadays consider respectable vintage collectors indulged in .
They may be getting better but I believe with the arrival of broadband internet and forums like this get found out more easily .
The use of mix and match parts is also common with vintage automobiles .

Looks like we are in trouble here with the watch.
My friend is going to see Schaap en Citroen in 's-Hertogenbosch this week as he wants a new Rolex submariner and while he is there let the expert people check the watch out. Ill keep you informed what has happened.

I know that I do not really fancy Tudor anyway but I just liked the watch.
I normally buy poor looking or broken Rolex or Tudor's and restore them gives me more pleasure. When they are finished I sell em again and with the money I buy a new project again. Sometimes I keep them. Mostly not. Started as not being able to afford a Rolex any more to a nice hobby.

The problem is resolved by the AD here they gave my mate a fair price to get the watch of the market so he traded it in for a new watch that he wanted to buy anyway.
The watch was franken many real parts but the case wasn't. Good job I did not buy it.
