List of Authorized Dealers?

Is there a way to search for AD’s ?

Unless I am doing something wrong, the AP website only searches for boutiques.

Enter a city name and you will see a list of boutiques & retailers.

On that page, make sure nothing is selected under "Refine Your Search".

According to that search engine (which I had used already) the closest dealers to Memphis are 1 in Houston,TX (10 hrs) and Charlotte, NC (almost 9 hrs) away.

That's why I asked this question because I just can't fathom that being correct.

Does AP really only have 2 dealers in the entire mid South/Central USA ?

That’s just nutz.

If a potential buyer, new to the line can’t find a store within a reasonable distance rather than 10 hrs away to try on various sizes and models, how do they expect to make a sale?

They are driving all traffic to boutiques. The AD in Charlotte is likely on its way out the door this year as AP pushes to a boutique only model in the US.

Yep, and none in Atlanta. I was lucky enough to travel to Singapore (TWO boutiques!) a couple times last year and tried on lots of APs. I wasn’t going to make an AP purchase without trying on the various models and sizes.

I guess with production numbers frozen at 40,000 in the current year(s), they are selling all the watches they want to with limited retail options.

Where are you located? If you're open to trying some longer distances I have nothing but positive things to say about Traditional Jewelers in Orange County. Have an incoming 26401RO with them right now that I'm waiting on.

As in the original post, close to Memphis. Might take just a little bit to drive to California.

It’s their business model for sure. But 40,000 watches doesn’t diffuse widely on a global scale, especially compared to Rolex’s approx 850k-1m units annually.

The AD in Charlotte only had 1 timepiece when I visited. Any incoming stock is spoken for.

Thanks. I am going to be a couple hours away from there soon, so I will call ahead and see if they have any stock before wasting the travel time.

Yup-- that's correct. Only one AD in all of Texas. AP has taken away accounts over the last 12-24 months throughout the US, including Wempe Jewelers in Manhattan, which previously had a huge account with them.

They're not playing.
