Any Love for the Casamigos Seamaster?

I ordered mine yesterday. I saw it on Sunday in the flesh. I absolutely love it.

What size is it? Looks nice!

Edit: just saw it's 45,5mm.

its awesome. Might I add, I always though 45mm was waaaay to big, but then I tried on a deep black and these watches fit beautifully. They wear much smaller then 45mm imo. Very comfortable, very light. Great piece.

Yes, although I’m accustomed to larger watches, this watch is honestly very comfortable and sits nicely on the wrist. The proportions are spot on.

Looks awesome, but their GMTs are massive on my wrist; height is crazy tall and they just wear odd for me.

But that things looks beautiful, and with the ceramic case, I'm sure it's fairly light, considering its size.

It is a little tall. About the same as my ROOs, but not as tall as my DSSD. And yes it is light.

It's actually 0.2mm taller than a DSSD, at 18mm. That's the issue, moreso than the 45mm diameter.

interesting if true. but on the contrary to what you allude, the seamaster is proportionately more balance to my eye. :dunno: i'll take some side by side shots when it gets here.

How well do you guys believe it will hold its value? Any precedent?

I will say I am not really a fan, for me it is one of those watches that I can collect as a gift but I can't purchase it.

I’m honestly new to Omega, so no clue, but only 80 pieces and they sold out in a day.

You have to like that ceramic look I think. I’ve had a PAM variant and currently own 2 IWC top guns, so it appeals to me.

Look forward to seeing this one! It looks amazing. Even though I am not going to get a ceramic watch, I gotta say this is one of the nicest I have seen. If I saw it in real life, it might make me change my mind about ceramic.

The 45mm PO is a perfect size for this watch. Very comfortable on the wrist.

Congratulations!

Cheers,
Carl

Cool-looking watch - enjoy it! To your question, I don’t think it will appreciate or hold its value as well as the speedy LEs, it’s a very niche watch due to the look, material, and size.

My user experience after 2 weeks:
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I love it too.The most comfortable watch of that size I ever worn. Light but not too light. Superb reflection of the black polished ceramic and beautiful transitions with the brushed part. A piece of art.

Futurist look. Seems Darth Vador's watch. Offered for free to any Jedi joining the Dark Side.
Could be sculpted in the 2001 Space Odissey's monolith. Light seems to come in but not out, except through sharp black mirror reflections.

Big, but rather discreet. Blends in your outfit like a Gshock or any black watch. Nobody recognizes and Omega (and the logo doesn't pop)
I find it very easy to match with any outfit due to the total black.

Only cons:
- GMT function not readable (but who cares)
- Price. Priced at Rolex Two-tone level, and there's no gold in it. Too expensive for what it is, due to it's ceramic and highly breakable. Got a few warnings from Omega boutique people "be careful don't be surprised if it breaks" due to very angry customers shouting at them when learning about price of case replacement (around 5-6k Eur). One shock on the lug, and the whole lug shatters in pieces...
But anyway. I love it.

So be careful with it.

I can't imagine it being so fragile. never had an issue with other ceramics. I also don't beat on my watches either.

Jesus. Behemoth of a watch!! I thought my Speedy was on the large side...

Unique watch, though. Doubt you'll see one in the wild that often, if at all.
