Chas M. Cox Company-50th Anniversary

Latest addition to my collection, I just love it when old clocks like this tell a story

I agree.

My vintage Tissot has a man's name on the case back and the year 1963.

I have no idea who he was, but that information suggests that the watch meant something special to the man who owned it.

I think it's cool you have an interest like this.

I often look and don't respond because I don't share the same interest.

Now that’s better!

Thanks, I just purchased a clock with a plaque that relates to a competitor in the 1932 Olympics. It was in pretty bad shape and is now on it’s way to a professional restoration, but I can’t wait until it’s finished and will proudly show it on here!

I wish I knew! I have tried to find out about this company, but only know it was a textile manufacturer in Boston and if you look on Ebay you will find a bunch of feedbags. Other then that... Nothing on the internet that I can see. From the plaque on my clock I guess we know it was in business at least 50 years
