Changing blnr from jubilee to oyster

Thinking of swapping my jubilee out for an oyster band. I know I’ve seen a thread about this but can’t seem to find it. What oyster bracelets will fit the new blnr . Will the the modern sub bracelet with glide lock ? I’d prefer not to have polished center links .

Seems like you can use the hulk bracelet with the blnr spring bars

yes, you can use the regular 97200 Submariner bracelet on the GTM but you need to use the GMT spring bars. I've been wearing it that way since the BLRO came out.

Yep, you just need the spring bars used for the BLNR for whichever SS sport oyster band used. My buddy did the opposite and swapped his 116710LN oyster band with a BLNR jubilee for a short while. In turn, his brother used his oyster bracelet on his BLNR.

For your reference. He used a BLNR bracelet with his LN spring bars. The BLNR in turn used the existing spring bars in order to use the oyster bracelet from the LN.

Where can we purchase a new oyster bracelet? Is this something an AD will sell?

If you have good contacts with your AD they can order it for you, it is $2K. In general, they need to know it is going towards replacing and old/broken bracelet for a verified genuine Rolex.

I have a 114060 and a 126710 BLNR. Are you saying that I can swap those out? I just need to keep the BLNR spring bars on the BLNR case, and use the sub spring bars on the sub case with the jubilee?

So with all that said are there any other models that this swap would work with ? My thought is rather than spend 2k on a bracelet buy a watch like a date just with a oyster and swap it with my jubilee . As comfortable as the jubilee is I prefer the oyster look on the blnr

Yes this is something an AD can do. I've done it with older 5513's where I never had the bracelet and they let me just buy a bracelet without handing in the old one. Not sure if they would want the original back to do a swap, and I imagine these are so new it's not credible if you go in saying you lost it or purchased it second hand without it.

I never could get the 126710 gmt spring bars to sweet properly using the sub bracelet. I pretty much gave up.

One end will seat and the other won’t. The bracelet appears to be secure but of course it’s not. I even ordered Daytona spring bars and no luck there either.

I LOVE the jubilee bracelet on my BLNR. However, it does seem a bit too dressy for me to wear daily. So it probably won’t get much wrist time until we go back to the office. I’m considering getting a RubberB for those more casual days. I too prefer the original BLNR on oyster (at least I think I do), but I am not willing to pay market price for one, so I’ll “settle” for the one I’ve got.
