I am looking to purchase a pre-owned mens Datejust (16233). I was told that there is currently a wait list for the new Rolex Datejust resulting in increased prices for pre-owned right now? Anyone heard of this?

I have only bought new, never pre-owned and after reading all the threads about fakes and scams on TRF I'm very concerned. If allowed, I'd appreciate any expert tips on where to buy online to avoid being scammed!
Experiences with Beckertime or Bob's? Thanks!
