(Almost) incoming

This is very early, but I'm about to put down a deposit on a blue 5711 :) it's going to be my first Patek! Very excited about this! The Nautilus has been on my radar for a long time , I haven't seen a 5711 on my wrist but tried on a few 5726s and it felt & looked good.

Delivery isn't going to be for over 10 months according to the AD but I don't mind waiting. Big thanks to a member here for the info that lead to the find.

The collection is becoming sport heavy so I might have to let go of one of the Rolexs ( the speedy will stay)

Thanks again for all the enabling!

Great choice for your first PP. It was the second PP I acquired. Enjoy. It's worth the wait. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424122827.079642.jpg

Congrats in advance!

If you're going to get rid of a Rolex, I'd pick the DJ (even though it is my favorite of your 3); I think it overlaps the most with the incoming 5711. I can't imagine putting on a DJ if I had a Nautilus in the stable.

I was going to put money down on that one too, if from Oz, but with VAT etc it doesn't work out for me here.

Huge congrats, no better felling that buying a brand new PP, and having it double sealed will be the icing on the cake. Well done mate :)

5711 was my first Patek. Fantastic choice. Yup....sell the DJ. The patek will eclipse it for wrist time.

Congrats in advance, great choice, about the Rolex which might go I would keep the sub, I've had the LV and LN, both flipped, now I know that I should've gotten the non date, it's the most beautiful IMO.

You should try on a 5712 if you can, it's the closest to the 5711, I have the 5726 on strap and the 5712 which is very slightly thicker than the 5711 but the 5726 is way more thicker than my 5712, but I love both, they are incredibly comfortable, a real pleasure to wear, so much that after getting my 5712 I had a hard time to put on one of my Rolexes, the difference in comfort is HUGE between them
