a 42mm Daytona in steel would be nice.
a Coke GMT in steel with a true red colour would also be welcome.

Exactly.

Anything announced wont be available.

Why people continue to obsess over this is a real mystery.

Rose gold and two-tone rose gold blue Submariners featuring the new movements.
And a ss steel blue dial Submariner to f$3@ the white gold owners, and offer them a dial change to a dark navy blue.

Well, I could imagine (would hope for) a new Explorer 2.

At my local AD this month I was inquiring for a polar Explorer 2 for a family member and the sales person said, Rolex introduced a new allocation system, which gives more transparency to the AD about future deliveries. The Explorer 2 will not be delivered to them anymore in 2018 and for 2019 no statement was made. Obviously, Explorer 2 is perhaps the only steel model which can still be found at grey dealers substantially below Retail price. So perhaps a reduction in numbers, Rolex thinks, can elevate the price again. Or it means a new model is on the horizon. Or this is simply a AD supply situation.

But a new (old) bezel design as used in the Rolex Hillary Tenzing Edition would be interesting (cannot post links, but simply query for rolex passion report, explorer 2 and Hillary Tenzing)

Besides that, I would like a green bezel BB 58 with a no-nonsene black dial (no gold).

Let's see.

Christian

RG Sub must be coming at some stage.

I’m pretty much set for watches but a new LN Sub with updated movement i’d buy. No interest in coloured bezels.

Good suggestion! I am hopeful for this. I could not quite pull the trigger on the OF versions of the gold Daytonas. I think the main reason is that I have not (yet) obtained a PM watch and people say the 'all-gold' feel is unique.

If Rolex do release this, maybe they will offer a full gold replacement bracelet option for those that have bought it with OF.
