I love it. That’s my one outright purchase for the year. Can’t wait.

Me too!

These are the first live shots from Baselworld. Someone said they will bring their original 6105 and do a side-by-side comparison shot. Fingers crossed on that one.

hard to see the value in the SLA at retail price vs the modern turtles. still a very nice watch though.

This and the SNR029 are both on my radar

That's a serious chunk of cash but... seeing as my Rolex / Tudor budget for 2019 has just FREED UP...

19mm.

It looks like the lug-to-lug increased, with a slightly longer case, more oval than rounded. Could be my eyes deceiving me.

I'm a HUGE fan of the SNR025, the blue dialed Flightmaster model. Some yahoos are calling it the Seiko Batman... Regardless, I still want it.

13mm from the spec sheet, which is thinner than the SLA017 (14.1mm), and of course the SLA025 (15.7mm).

Interesting that they kept the 19mm lug width. It really helps maintain the vintage look. Is it a dome crystal? Hard to tell but it looks like it might be.

Big Seiko fan but, how can they justify the price considering +-15 seconds per day? An Omega SM is cheaper and a much better movement

Right? I feel like this is a great opportunity for a company like Oris to capture market share.
