16760 dial help

Dear friends,

I intend to purchase this watch. However, i find the dial a little 'weird' as the letter fonts and placement appear different from some i see online.

Also the GMT Master is missing the 'II'. Any inputs will be much appreciated pls. If you can spot anything else, kindly highlight and teach me. Thank you for the time spent on my queries. Appreciate it.

Dial has been replaced, this belongs to a 16750 GMT not to a Fat Lady, the serial is a early one, it was probably a "No Date" One. I just faced the same problem with mine. Unfortunately to find an KK-1 is almost impossible, eventually you could install a MK-3 that was also the service one, they are tritium and some has a very good patina and collector world would accept it as many MK-1 were replaced because of blemish or cracking. Consider that the one you have has a good value as it is spider.
Not sure if this helped, 16760 is becoming an hot reference this days. It is a very nuce watch that deserve to be ion.in good condit

Hi, thank you for the comments and feedback. Totally appreciate it. Most likely will give this a pass then. Too much trouble and considering it's high price, not a good deal to proceed. Cheers.

Sorry, just to check again. MK1 16750 dials should not have gold surrounds like this watch right? In case i am missing something here.

This dial is the first variation of the glossy 16750 dial and is also referred to as the "no date" dial since the dial reads Oyster Perpetual not Oyster Perpetual Date like all the GMTs dials that came after this one.

Since it is the first variation of the glossy GMT dials found on the 16750 model, some refer to this as a Mark I dial.

There is also another 16750 dial referred to as a Mark I but this is a matte dial.
