Has anyone seen these floating around anywhere recently? Just curious, as my wife's family is from Florence, and I am tempted by getting one with "Firenze" on the dial

I believe it is a 001 model...?

There are several Firenze dial Pams which have been released over the years.

I don't believe the 001 is one of those models. I think it's a standard 44mm Luminor.

Personally, I own the 972 and absolutely love it. The 605 is another model with Firenze on the dial and quite good looking. I can't remember the reference numbers for the others off the top of my head.

With the Q and R series (2015)..Panerai released a four liner 44mm Luminor
Sausage Fauxtina dial with "Firenze" on the dial
Takuya has one for sale...originally to be released at the Firenze Boutique..but few made to boutiques around the world...
I got one from Dallas boutique back in 2015

There’s one for sale on C24.

As mentioned there are a number of Pam’ with Firenze on the dial.

I was eyeing a 672 ... just too rich for what it is IMHO.
