Manual work - removing the strap and putting on the bracelet requires some manual skills. The original strap will never see the light of day again. It was hopelessly uncomfortable - stiff and too short. On the other hand, the bracelet is ultra comfortable, has a small, well-profiled clasp, and additionally quick adjustment with a 2.5mm pitch (I measured it exactly!). A little bit, but there is. Tomorrow I will post photos in daylight, because those taken at home in artificial lighting came out poor.

Looks awesome. I don’t disagree with your blue strap comments on stiffness but I have other watches and speedie on bracelet so I’m sticking original. Of course, everytime I see bracelet I consider if I should switch lol. Obviously strap is easiest to view that fun backside view

A few words about the new fast micro-adjustment clasp for Moonwatch and the quality of workmanship. For emaciated wrists, this 2.5mm adjustment will certainly be enough. For athletes whose wrist swells more, no longer. Unfortunately, you have to wear the bracelet looser. As for the execution of the fastener itself - a lot of sharp edges that draw links when zoomed in. The very unstable skeleton of the clasp entering its frame is very sharp, which is why it cuts quite unpleasantly along the sharp edges, creating burrs, which I showed in the photos.

Clasp analysis continued... They could have made a slight chamfer on the short sides of the fastener, like on the longer ones. They left sharp, not pleasant to the touch. In terms of the watch's overall experience; at the moment, it gives me a lot of fun looking at the dial that changes structure and color as the light moves, or the nicely shown dog on the left sub-dial. In addition, it measures time quite well, the wearing comfort is also at a decent level. Interestingly, the left subdial (the one with Snoopi) has a lighter color than the others.

Thank you for the thorough analysis and detailed photo's. I was about to pull the trigger and order up this bracelet for my Snoopy, but solely based on your review, I'm putting that purchase on hold.

This in not typical for Omega. Although their past bracelets may have had shortcomings, they were at least well built.

This clasp arrangement certainly falls short.

Do not be guided by my analysis, because the bracelet itself is quite comfortable, although not fully refined in terms of quality. The watch is comfortable to wear, and since I like perfection, I showed what is wrong with this clasp. I'll tell you that you can live with it, although I was hoping for something more sublime than one of the most innovative brands, which is undoubtedly Omega.

For the premium Omega charges for their bracelet, I will happily learn to live with the modest quality of my Forstner.

Congratulations Mariusz on this great-looking watch and thanks for the detailed review on the new clasp.
I have the 3861 speedy (sapphire) but with the older clasp and was wondering if I should change it to the newer one. I guess I might as well keep the current clasp...
I also have the black NASA strap, to be fair and honest the quality is okay, and it is fun to wear it, but not worth the high price that Omega charges for it...

Thank you for posting your Velcro nasa logo strap, I have seen other postings on these & will order a silver one from the local AD this week. I received the text to pick up mine since it’s initial launch in 2020. And congrats to everyone on here that had received theirs, that 3861 bracelet does look good !

Congrats. You may find the silver strap detracts from the watch itself. That was my experience, hence my white strap selection.

Weird, all the sub-dials on mine are the same shade of blue.
