Incoming Seamaster Diver 300M Green!

Good evening fellow Omega watch fanatics! I was fortunate enough to pick up a new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M green from my local Omega boutique yesterday after a relatively short wait. I must say that the green is very subtle and difficult to capture it’s true beauty in photos. It wears extremely comfortable on my wrist with the rubber strap. Needless to say this one will be getting a lot of wrist time! While at the boutique I also picked up a new nylon strap with deployant buckle for my Speedy 1861 hesalite. It has given me a reinvigorated love for this watch and I’m sure it will give the Seamaster some competition in the rotation. Anyhow, some pictures for your viewing pleasure

Grats. Picking mine up on Friday. Tried one on today at my OB that was sold but the customer picked up a white SMP instead so my guy called me and said it’s mine if I want. I said heck yeah and getting it on a green folding clasp. The watch looks a lot better in person than photos.

You’re going to love it! The deployant clasp is a great option. I love the one on my new Speedy strap and might upgrade on the Seamaster now too

Yes it is! The color seems to change from black to green to almost a dark silver/grayish hue in different lighting.

The green will really vary by the light. Most of the time it does look almost dark gray.

Other times it can really pop.

Congratulations, I really like the strap for 1861.
Is it comfortable?

Extremely comfortable! It’s the same strap from the 45th anniversary Apollo 13 Speedmaster. Highly recommended

Congratulations! I'm not normally a green dial guy, but I agree, this green is quite subtle and changes with the light in such an elegant way. I tried one on several months ago (incidentally while picking up the same Speedy strap you got) and almost bought it on the spot. If I didn't already have an Omega diver, I would have gotten it for sure. Enjoy!

Looks great. I love that deep forest green they went with. Very classy shade of green.

Congratulations!!

Looks fab. Wear in the very best of health.

I’ve just put a deposit down on one. Likely pick it up mid August (could have it sooner but holidays etc delay slightly).

I’ve ordered the green rubber on deployant plus the standard SS bracelet for best of both worlds.

Can’t wait !

I’m not keen on the bracelet either.

I’m sure there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it but once you’ve had a six digit submariner you’re kind of spoiled for bracelet quality.

I’ve ordered mine on green rubber but with an Omega deployant clasp so it’s a little nicer (IMO)

I suspect I’ll grow to love the Omega bracelet once more. (Which is why I ordered both) Time will tell.

OP - How’s ownership going ? Still smitten ?

Did the exact same thing - ordered w/ the bracelet, but wear on green rubber w/ the deployant clasp. I got mine last summer...still love it. What a straight-up excellent watch.

Incoming Seamaster Diver 300M Green!

I just bought the same watch at the boutique. Why wasn’t I offered champagne? Lol

This might be my fav Omega in the current line up. I was offered one today at AD, at the old $5,600 price and they would cover the sales tax. Still need to think about it.
