French President Macron takes off luxury watch during interview.

At the expense of sounding like Chewbacca, is a Bell & Ross really considered "Luxury"? Estimated price of 1660-3300 Euros.

I can’t really identify the watch based on the YT videos. From afar I thought it was a FPJ CB, but looks like people are saying it’s a B&R. So is it a 2k or 80k watch?

Emmanuel Macron takes his Watch off!!

Can this be the greatest horological non-story so far in 2023?

Isn't B&R a French brand? Even the minority shareholder, Chanel, is French.

Not that much Love, and you really can't blame anyone. The optics suck. How would you like someone telling you that your retirement has to be postponed? Let them eat cake. Yeah that didn't go over well either.

"..Macron wearing a watch with a blue face and black strap, which is a £2,100 BRV 1-92 model by the French company Bell&Ross, according to France Info"
According to the UK Daily Mail.

That would infuriate his constituents who know the brand more and what it stands for than B&R

Any excuse for the guy’s enemies to complain and attack. That being said, no one would have said anything if he had just worn it. I mean, his suit is probably more expensive.
