If you like G.O. take a quick peek at Lange & Sohne before you make any decisions unless you already have.

The brand is amongst the few with the highest integration. They produce 95% of all components themselves.
They were the first brand to introduce the wide and loved micro-adjustment-clasps.
Movements are of great quality and they have the ability to produce some of the greatest dials you've seen.

General recommendations of the brand:
Senator Chronometer (Ref. 1-58-01-05-34-30)
Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar
PanoGraph
Sixties

Recommendations for your dress watch:
Senator Excellence (Ref. 1-36-01-02-05-30)
PanoReserve (Ref. 1-65-01-25-15-04)

Regarding Lange: the Pano collection might imposter the Lange 1 collection but they have nothing to fear about. Both brands do things differently and stand for different things. It's totally up to you.

I owned a PanoLunar Blue for 3 years. My understanding is that Pano series is their most popular.

Pros: In my humble opinion, one of the best watches under $10k that one can buy (I am assuming 20-25% discount from retail) in terms of movement finishing and overall build quality. They are basically the JLC of Germany. If possible, buy the watch on bracelet as it offers easy adjustment and it is worth the price.

Cons: Poor resale value. If you buy outside PanoLunar or PanoReserve, you may struggle to sell later down the road. Also, some people complain about the thickness of the watch relative to the diameter, I didn’t find it to be a problem in my experience.

Finish, look, and overall value is top notch for the price point. They also make some cool complications to support their credentials.

I own a Panomatic Lunar and I absolutely love it. They tend to be thick but that is a characteristic not a lack of refinement.

Incredible watch. I still own one and love the detail and quality.

I’ve compared a PP, Lange and Moser to a GO’s best complication models and the GO had better overall build and finish quality. To me.

Their sport models aren’t the best casings or design but you still get their gorgeous movements. Their box is probably the best in the business too.

Great alternative to a lot more perceivably more premium makes.

I've owned a Panomatic Lunar for about a month.
I'm very happy with it.

Hopefully,Jocke will chime in. He has amazing GO photos!

I used to own 3 GO pieces. The Senator chronometer, panoreserve and Senator observer. I think these watches based on relative value are great choices.
I now only own the Observer and do not wear it much. I found the Chronometer quite uncomfortable with the deployment buckle they use. I have a relatively smaller wrist. I ended up buying a tang buckle for my observer, which is a lighter watch.

One other point-- the positioning of the lugs makes these watches a bit larger than the actual diameter. So if you have a small wrist.. try them on first

I have to really disagree ... I own PP, Lange and GO--- and while the GOs are a relatively good value-- the finishing is not the same as most of the PP or Lange pieces I have owned or tried on.

Have you ever had any problems with the movement or it keeping accurate time?

Of course they keep accurate time. Unless youre insanely anal about it and +5 seconds will drive you mad or something then maybe look at a spring drive or metas Omega.

No I’m not that concerned about it. More like 300 seconds a day would be cause for concern.
