ok, so I just received the Uncle 1450 Presidents Bracelet and here are some pics and my thoughts.
The quick TLDR thoughts......It's cheap at $129 and it certainly feels cheap. With that said, it does look good if you don't check it out up close or handle it and then expect to see tolerances, etc, of a "real" presidents bracelet and the silky smooth feel of one. I have attached some pics. It's really light at 185g (6.5oz) and has a little flex like it's been stretched a little over time from lots of use. It also has more spacing between each link than I would like but it's not that noticeable. Lastly, the "solid" end links are really light and are quite sharp (not good finishing) but you can't tell once it's installed. Again, this is merely a critique of the items that stood out to me compared to what you would get with an OEM bracelet for 10-15x the cost. But......this bracelet is still aesthetically a million times better than the factory bracelet. This has a nice taper and feel on the wrist. I'm satisfied and will definitely be wearing the watch more often in my rotation now! Appreciate all the input |

Thanks for the review of that bracelet. I don’t mind the OEM bracelet option and can’t bring myself to buy an aftermarket bracelet, no matter how good it looks. I’ll wear mine on either the OEM rubber or Omega Natos over these bracelets. I have the grey dial and also the green dial along with one rubber strap with the tang buckle and the green dial came with the deployant clasp option. I may eventually pick up the mesh bracelet if I ever get a chance to try it on.

If anyone has some more pics of other bracelet alternatives on a 300 (bonus points on a white dial) - huge thanks in advance.

I just got the steel mesh bracelet from Omega but got it in the short size so I don't have too much of a bulge. I will send a pic in a minute.

I agree. The mesh are exquisite. I have the 2234.50 and I wear it (currently) on a Heimdallr mesh and am trying to get sizing info on the Omega SS mesh. The 2234.50 originally came with the speedy bracelet — which is a massive improvement on the Bond bracelet imho, but not anywhere near as good as the oyster bracelet. It’s a shame the current iterations can’t be sourced on the speedy bracelet as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Forstner bracelets are good quality compared to the rest. Apparently Forstner has history with Astronauts who wore the Forstner bracelet on their Speedmaster in space so it kind of feels it fits with the Omega or Speedmaster because of that history.
I have the forstner president on my green Seamaster 300. https://forstnerbands.com/collection...mega-seamaster The flat link on my Rising Sun Tokyo 2020 Speedmaster. https://forstnerbands.com/collection...ga-speedmaster |
