Probably because you are not really the target audience (I.e., women, artists, younger crowd, etc.)?
I am sure that this, just like the other new colorful bOPble model, is designed to appeal to a younger generation… which I doubt is spending much time on TRF. |

Lol I find the woke comments entertaining. Rolex doesn't care what you think, whatever they make will sell and their pocket books won't be impacted at all.
Everyone that said Rolex is "woke now" and "Go woke go broke" should sell their Rolex watches and move on since the company no longer aligns with your views of the world |

It reminds me of the guy a while back who was so pissed about the MoonSwatch that he literally posted every Omega he had up for sale. Kinda crazy. |

I'm guessing their designer stole the idea from that and had no intention of tying in. Stay tuned in a few days of Twitter complaints for Rolex to create the tie in.

Not with TRF's 20 year old lay out, that's for sure.

The YG one is absolutely beautiful. I wish it also functioned as a traditional Day Date but with that dial.

I do not think I would wear one of these but I think they are great.
They will sell like hotcakes and over time will be selling for way over retail. I expect every entertainer, social media influencer, etc to gobble these up. Rolex giving the nod to the people that have made the brand even more famous. It knows where the money is coming from. I hope we see more like this. |

Rolex has lost their minds
I guess there's a market for it or they wouldn't do it, but sheesh... |

Is this even a day date anymore? No day, no date, no way.

This thing will be photographed on red carpets, NBA court seats, celebrity charity appearances, and of course all over social media. It'll be a huge win for Rolex. I kinda hate to break it to the old school legacy wearers, but you just aren't who Rolex cares about these days. They view alienating you the same way they decided to view alienating the one -time milestone Rolex buyers a few years ago: Just the price of doing business.

This sounds like something you'd see on a sign someone is holding while protesting out front of Rolex HQ.

Looks like something from Toys-R-Us.
Rolex can donate all they want to autism charities from their top selling references without producing a watch like this to virtue signal. |

I think it needs to be in the manual because you’d need a button to jump it on to the correct emotional feeling but it presumably just rotates through the 7 words in the same order. It probably would be better if it had been a perpetual calendar. That way the ad could set it right and then you’d just have to keep wearing it or put it on a watch winder.

I would wear it. I passed on some pretty unique pieces in the past and really regret it. If I get offered any Rolex with a unique dial my mantra is now just get it. plus I have a pretty wide range of what I like. So I can get behind this watch.

It's a brave new world. There's little doubt who Rolex is going after. It seems that they are more interested in getting their stuff on the wrists of 25 year old Tik Tok influencers than WIS types who bought their first Rolex in 1986 or whatever. I don't think Rolex has any interest in fighting the future, even if some of their long time customers do.

Thought you’d prefer the OP - Bubbles one. Would blend in nicely with your, ahem, “skin tone”… (And if anyone from outside the U.K. is going to roast me, please google “Mr Blobby” first!) |

TRF Member Protests In Front Of Rolex's Swiss Headquarters (March 27, Switzerland) This just in, TRF member Pw92676 is protesting in front of the Rolex headquarters shouting "No day, no date, no way" as a curious crowd is building around him. Some say he is absolutely right, others say he's lost his mind. Whatever the case, we'll keep you updated on this developing important new event. This is EnjoyTheMusic reporting for TRF Press. Back to Steve in the studio.

If this is a model to raise awareness and support for autism, of course I support a worthy cause like that. However, what I find curious, is why autism? Why not one of a hundred different worthy causes to produce support for?
Is there more to this story I am missing? |

My son who has Aspergers (High functioning Autism) and who loves watches, is trying to convince me he needs it instead of using a hidden disability or autism lanyard. I'm not so sure, little does he know I have already asked the AD for the white gold one, as him mum loves it. Let you know if i get one for her. |
